Why it is important to maintain "Side Hustles" at work

4. You appreciate how hard it is to build a business large enough to need an employee like you
5. you can run things exactly the way you want
Be your own boss! Everything is your fault!
6. maybe you can make a few bucks if that is the goal
Or not: start that chainsaw ice sculpture gig.
7. you can be a writer/artist/photographer/poet/musician without trying to support yourself with your efforts
8. A good place to blow off steam from office politics
9. Gives you something to look forward to, especially when you are caught in the grind or an unpleasant meeting
10. Possibly set yourself up for your next career
11. As they say: Don't quit your day job!
I did this twice in my life with disastrous consequences. Do your side hustle until it replaces your main hustle.
