I was in the 7th grade and it was lunch time.

1. There was a girl named Erin that I had a crush on for a while.

I was playing football during lunch recess with my friends and she was in the group of kids that were watching. I had actually gotten tackled and rolled in some bird shit, so I was desperately trying to hide that from her. So romantic!

2. As lunch was ending and we were walking back to class,

she walked up to me, hugged me, and we kissed.

3. We both were wearing braces

and we were both really nervous that they'd get hooked together if we kissed for too long, so we kept it brief.
