1. Fuller was involved in an astonishing variety of projects
An absolutely dizzying number of projects. Many involved in manufacturing, homes, automotive, book writing, lectures, artwork. Etc. However, he was not a closer and had very few successful commercial projects in his lifetime.
2. He was heralded as a genius before any substantial commercial successes
He was compared to Leonardo da Vinci and referred to as "the smartest man alive." He must have been extremely charismatic.
3. Fuller developed the “play domes” that are ubiquitous on playgrounds

7. Fuller was very intriguing to others (charismatic) and would speak contemporaneously for up to 11 hours at a time
He supported his endeavors by an intense speaking schedule and kept this up well into his 80s.
8. A geodesic dome was used in Antarctica in the 1970s to protect the buildings there: it worked well
9. “Spaceship Earth“ at Epcot in Disney was based on Fuller’s ideas but they did not even consult with him until after the fact
I had assumed that it would be a reveal that Fuller did this, but instead they basically ripped him off and refused to acknowledge him.
