I assumed there was strong evidence that he existed, but I just googled it, and while "the vast majority of scholars" don't doubt that he existed (according to something I briefly saw in the search results), there is one guy who apparently doubts it (and he's Muslim).

Do I really need to add a disclaimer that says "I'm not a Nazi"? It would have been fascinating to look into the eyes of someone so evil.

I am also not a Stalinist, in case this needs to be said.
