Do you need to have a degree to work as a data scientist? or you can just study in bootcamps?

A degree is a good way of getting a DS job at a large corporation. But it's not a must. If you are in a related field like finance, tech, or marketing you could take the bootcamp route and segway into Data Science. Small companies tend to be a bit more flexible.

Experience is what really matters and that could be gained from working on data analysis projects or demonstrating work on sites like Kaggle or GitHub.
