10 things from my day today

1. Watched 10 minutes of Lupin

I’m watching a Netflix series called Lupin in ten minute instalments! It’s in French.

2. Recycled cardboard at the tip

3. Haircut

4. Latte at Beaumont’s

5. Supermarket quick shop

Dropped a tub of tomato and mascarpone pasta sauce on the floor. Made a mess!

6. My new Filofax popper fastener broke

I only bought it on Monday. A bit sad as I had prepped it to use over the weekend. Fortunately I have another the same size. Hopefully, should get a replacement next week.

7. Did some garden tidying

8. Wrote a Substack post

9. Read about the demise of Instagram

10. Saw the lights of the Red Arrows fly over the village

I’ve tried watching Lupin (in English) but keep getting distracted by other shows. On my list.
No idea what a Filofax popper thingy is but I’m off to find out. Thanks for showing me something new today.

I've had a recent French phase to try to keep my ear in! I'm quite good when I start watching something - I keep going until the end. I find it quite compelling. The Filofax popper is the closure on some filofaxes. The new one has been much better! That's the joy of these lists - always something new.
