7. Find someone ambitious, smart and driven to work alongside. Preferably someone at a slightly higher level than you are. Then ride their coattails if you're not ambitious, smart and driven yourself.

10. Don't go into management consulting for the money - go into it to learn about new industries. Learn how to work with different team members on different projects. Learn about what do in stressful situations.
