    1. “The way to make money is to serve others and not ourselves”

    0

    2. Use systems to automate and improve your content generation

    0

For example for a set of content/information you can simultaneously work towards a video, a book, and a podcast

    3. The author wrote a book on how to use the Amazon Fire Stick that sold well

    0

Lots of things that seem obvious to you could be a useful guide for somebody else. There are a lot of books for how to use XYZ as a senior. These can be "mini books" and priced at $5 or so.

    4. “You don’t need to be a “guru” on any topic. You just need to know more than your audience

    0

This was a recurring theme. I see this a lot myself with YouTube videos. I get a lot out of somebody that just figured out how to do something. One of my own videos showing how to do something got over half a million views.

    5. Do product research to see whether people buy similar products

    0

Check the popularity of courses on Udemy, the popularity of various books on Amazon, the popularity and number of videos on YouTube and so on.

    6. Three big niches

    0

"The three big niches are: Lifestyle Business and Money Health and Fitness"

    7. Go at least 3 levels deep to specialize

    0

Broad topic books always fail for the solo entrepreneur. The author gave the example of meditation: that would be too broad. Meditation-> Yoga -> yoga for beginners-> goat yoga for beginners: there's your niche!

    8. Create an avatar of your customer and write all of your content for that person

    0

Go into a lot of detail: how old are they? Do they have experience? What do they need to learn? How do they like to learn?

    9. Write to your target: sell to many!

    0

"Create your product for one person then market it to many people."

    10. Appeal to wants, give them needs

    0

"Wants are different from needs. Always appeal to wants in your marketing but then give them what they need in your content." An example of this might be "Lean to make delicious food with 5 tools" and then the book would detail how to do this and exactly what to buy.

I completely agree with the idea that the way to make money is to serve others and not just ourselves. It's important to focus on providing value to others and solving their problems, rather than just trying to make a quick buck. And using systems to automate and improve content generation is a great way to scale and reach more people with your message. I also love the idea of repurposing content across multiple formats, such as a video, book, and podcast. This can help reach different audiences and provide value in different ways. Thanks for sharing your insights from Digital Product Blueprint, Nathan George!
