I enjoyed the pod but it would be nice if "Prof G" would stop conspicuously aggressive framing of himself as an academic. He was an entrepreneur that had a couple of okay exits and now all his active income comes from being a speaker, author, and board member. There's nothing wrong with that, yet he pretends that teaching one and only one class once per week at night for a part-time MBA program makes him an "NYU professor". He doesn't even take payment for that one class he teaches (if he did it would be like $12k) and he frames that as "donating 100% of his NYU salary back to the university". He doesn't have a salary and wouldn't if he opted in to getting paid. He'd get paid by the class like all adjuncts do. It's really pathetic and gets quite hard to listen to which is really detracts from the otherwise decent info he's providing.
