10 Things to do in Philadelphia

My friends and I are going to Philadelphia this weekend, and I haven't been since I was 12. So please take this list with a grain of salt: it's based on preconceptions and internet research, not experience.

1. See the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall

2. Eat a Philly cheese steak

3. Go on a duck tour

4. Run up the Rocky stairs

5. Have snacks at the Reading Terminal Market

6. Visit UPenn's campus

7. Check out the Magic Gardens

8. Spend time at the Rodin Museum

9. Visit Eastern State Penitentiary

10. Send a Postcard from the U.S.'s first post office

Great list. If you like used books, look up the Book Trader. Not too far from Indepence Hall. Has a real Ollivander’s feel to it if you know what I mean.

I love your list. I lived in Philly for 5 years. (Won an eating competition at RTM, got married there, my cat's from Philly...)

Don't forget Elfreth's Alley, and I think they put a park up on the Reading Viaduct which should be close to Reading Terminal Market (kind of like the High Line in NYC).

I miss Philly. Have fun!
