This is quite informative for people who want to try freelancing! Thanks for this. Are you a freelancer yourself?

Good list! I haven't tried doing Fiverr. Which is better?

My experience with Fiverr is more limited and I recently put it on hold because it was getting too much. In only a couple of months I got to the point where I was getting contacted every day, so in that sense it was easier to find clients than on Upwork, but they were usually one-off gigs and often the pay wasn't great, but maybe I could price my services higher at this point. All my gigs started at $5 just to bring in more people and get reviews, but my average order was around $40.

On Upwork you gotta spend a lot more time applying for gigs, but I've found there's more potential for well paid, long-term work. And now I get approached once in a while as well.

Some people make tons of money with Fiverr though!

I see! I guess for Fiverr you really need to allocate more time to do all the gigs since it is priced a bit lower. That's cool! Thanks for sharing this.

I priced it low to start off, but maybe I could now price it higher and earn more. I already got too much going on though!
