10 things you’ve had and used the longest
Great list! Things are not made to last anymore. At least in the US!

1. Clothes steamer
Hate to iron. Have one that is at least 15 years old. Maybe 20+. Family member gave it to me. These things are great.
2. Cars
Have a 2008 and a 2012. Don't plan on upgrading. May sell one of them, though. The 2008 is my favorite.
3. Bottle opener
Have one from a company my grandfather (who I never met) worked at . It's at least 70 years old? I love it.
4. Art
Have paintings that are at least 50-60 years old. I love art. Some are from family members, which I cherish.
5. Magazines
Have some magazines from the 60's and 70s. Love them. They are art to me.
6. Furniture
Have some furniture that has been in my family since the 1970s. Every older piece of furniture we have is much higher quality than anything built in the last 15 years or so.
7. Books
Have some very old ones. I try not to throw them away or donate, but if I move, will probably have to get rid of some things.
8. Trinket blessed by the pope
It's a Saint Christopher (Patron Saint of Travelers) trinket blessed by the Pope in 1969 in Rome. Keep it with me whenever I travel.
9. Old sporting equipment
Some are from the 1970s. Some have been used by famous athletes. I love them. Use them as decoration and talking pieces. Forget I have them sometimes.
10. Dress Shoes
Have a pair that I bought in 2011 that are expensive (for me). They still look basically brand new. Polish them often, use a shoe tree, and take care of them!
