1. Listen to upbeat music
2. Look at old photos (from when you weren’t as fit)
3. Remember how you feel after you’ve had a gym session
4. Tell yourself (out loud) that going to the gym is better than sitting at home
5. Watch a motivational speaker video
6. Look in the mirror and imagine where you could be in 12 months
7. Speak to your partner (or friend) and get them to give you a push
8. Get into your gym clothes
9. Prep a meal that will only be ready for after you’re done at the gym
10. Remind yourself that discipline is an act that we have to do even when not motivated
