1. confident
This is a trigger that I will survive the first week of retirement. I think I have the financial resources and the activities planned to keep me busy.
2. never stop trying
This is a good message for any of us, at any age, trying to reach a goal. This makes me think of my son trying to finish his doctorate right now. Tough times.
3. play a game of charades
We will wrap this up tonight. We will see if I can talk my wife into playing after dinner.
4. return to the essence
What are we? Are we individuals trying to make it on our own or are we families, trying to survive the day-to-day challenges? Reflecting on my health issues and retirement, family has become the central focus, maybe on the late side.
5. pearl
This is a hard one. I can only think of the gem and perhaps pearl necklaces. Gifts for my wife. After 38 years, she deserves to be honored.
