Diet for Entrepreneurs: best foods for emotional regulation to achieve goals.

Diet to achieve goals? Yes, there’s such a diet!
Not so much of a diet as eating principles with specific foods.
Foods that help to:
- Reduce anxiety and stress when things get hard and we need to keep going, keep showing up, keep doing our best;
- Boost confidence - we’ll figure it out no matter what!
- Boost drive, motivation and energy to stay focused and achieve.
A note on emotional eating: processed foods that people tend to use to get a quick boost of pleasure don’t last! In the long run they make us feel worse, less confident, with less drive to achieve. They might be comfort foods but that comfort doesn’t last, often comes with health and weight complications (self-confidence gets a hit as well), AND long-term, this delays our progress in life and business. Stop wasting time on foods that give no ROI! Eat for action instead!
When things get hard and overwhelming for me - like I don't know what to do to solve a challenge, which direction to focus on in my business and anxiety and overwhelm rise - I eat foods to:
1. 𝐑𝐄𝐃𝐔𝐂𝐄 𝐀𝐍𝐗𝐈𝐄𝐓𝐘
Also, to reduce stress and inflammation in the body and brain - to 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠-𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐦 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬
𝐅𝐎𝐎𝐃𝐒: fatty fish with Omega 3s like sardines and salmon, lots of fruit, berries like blueberries 🫐 , green veggies like spinach, plain yogurt for probiotics.
2. 𝐁𝐎𝐎𝐒𝐓 𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐍𝐈𝐍 for CONFIDENCE
𝐈𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐦 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 (that's what good serotonin levels do).
𝐅𝐎𝐎𝐃𝐒: protein rich in amino acid tryptophan like chicken, fish, meat + whole food carbs like sweet potato, bananas 🍌, chickpeas.
3. 𝐁𝐎𝐎𝐒𝐓 𝐃𝐎𝐏𝐀𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐄 for DRIVE AND MOTIVATION
It will 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞, 𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐕𝐒 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝.
𝐅𝐎𝐎𝐃𝐒: protein above, fatty fish above, probiotic-rich foods like yogurt and a piece of dark chocolate 🍫
𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐔𝐋𝐓: 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞, 𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐦 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 to make long-term decisions, solve problems and take action to keep making progress.
