How could I improve my morning.

Morning routines help to wake up and motivate you for the day.

    1. Get up at he same time every day

    2. God to bed at same time everyday

    3. Have a plan for the day or at least one thing you want to accomplish that day

    4. Exercise in the morning.

    I spend 20 minutes exercising every morning - Yoga and strength training exercises. Nothing overwhelming but enough to get moving and to wake up.

    5. Drink two glasses of water to re-hydrate.

    6. 5 to 10 minutes meditation

    Quiet time to allow your mind to focus.

    7. Avoid the news first tihing in the morning

    The news is usually bad and has little or no relevance to your life. I live in a small country, population 17 million, and many days the news features stories that make me think - if that is the worst thing that happened overnight we should feel lucky, not upset.

    8. Read something informative and or motivating.

    9. Present a problem you are working on to your mind before going to sleep - hopefully in the morning you will have some new insights that will help to solve the problem.

    It may take many attempts. The solution may be something not well defined but a central concept that can be developed into a solution.

    10. Eat a healthy breakfast: This gives me sustained energy throughout the morning instead of a sugar high from unhealthy food choices.
