How Do I Find Time for Things Other than my Day Job?

Time flows on regardless of what we do. Time can't be "saved" to be used later. We can only "spend" it. How we spend it determines whether we reach goals or are productive.

Finding time, Making time, Getting Stuff done... It all comes down to F O C U S.

    1. Some Simple Truths

We each have ALL the time there is -- 24 hours each day, 168 hours each week, 672 hours each month, 8,670 hours each year. We all get older until we die.

Without a Plan, we get distracted by whatever enters our mind.

Man who chases 2 Rabbits catches none.

To-Do lists have their place, but can add to the distraction noise.

A "noisy" environment makes it difficult to focus.

Additional Streams of Income require laser focus to get them running.

It is impossible to multi-task at high levels of performance.

Your HIGHEST Priority is apparently what you're doing right Now.

    2. F O C U S

    Finish

    "Course"

    Until

    Successful

    3. Plan Your Work. Work Your Plan.

You have X hours per day / week / month / year.

    Pick ONE Goal / Project.

WRITE a Plan on How you will Accomplish the Goal or Compete the Project.

Set some date Milestone Goals or Check-offs.

Put parts of your PLAN into your regular scheduling program.

    START. CONTINUE. FINISH.
