"How does Elon Musk inspire you?" He is proof that anything is possible if you work hard enough and are willing to take risks.

Elon Musk is by far one of the greatest Entrepreneurs alive. Few lessons:

    1. Vision

He understands no one can see your vision as much as you do, that's why he'll take more risks for what he believes in.

    2. On Hiring:

Work with smarter people; work becomes a learning field for all parties including you and productivity 10x with a good team.

    • Facilitate, not micromanage.
    • Hire the right people (talented & capable people) for the right job
    • Lead by example.

    3. Cutting cost

It's possible to create a product that really solves problems; and aim for keeping cost low.

Tesla & Space X are good examples.

    • No bureaucracies.
    • Keep things simple.
    • Find an edge others can't see.
    • Focus on your customers.

    4. Winners always hold their head up, never give up.

"I have a high tolerance to for pain" were his words to Vishen Lakhiani, founder of MindValley, Code for the extraordinary mind book on what makes a man extraordinary.

    5. We are all made a special way for a special reason - Don’t focus on changing yourself

Accept you're unique and take advantage of it.

Here's how he puts it in several interviews:

“When I was a kid, I thought I was weird.
I didn’t understand why everyone else’s head wasn’t beaming with ideas like mine was. I don’t particularly think you’d want to be me. It’s really hard to turn it all off.”
If you’re really close to me you know it’s extremely hard sometimes to keep my attention. Its nothing personal, it’s just how my mind works. I already have a dozen things going on in my head and conversations typically multiply that by two to three times because I’m getting ideas about what you’re talking about.
Some people don’t like this about me… Some people can see it makes me unique…

    6. Stop overthinking and take action

    Elon recently acquired Twitter.

He wanted something - freedom of expression on the web.

First he bought a stake, then he proposed the full company.

Twitter is a pillar of every news outlet, politician, celebrity and activist - perfect place to start. Of course, he also sees the revenue potential. Bots will decrease. New product features will surely arrive.

If you want something badly - go after it. Stop overthinking. When you see a problem, you don’t complain about it, instead you try to find a way and solve it.

    7. Build and leverage your personal Brand

Elon Musk himself is very active on Twitter.

From the first day I started using this NotePD, @JamesAltucher commented on one of my posts. I was stoked and sent a DM thanking him for the app. I wouldn't have had the courage to do it if I never built a personal brand myself.

Elon knows the full potential of building a personal brand and takes advantage of it. People are hard-wired bond and relate with faces and voices more than logos and colors.

    8. Be Polarizing in your marketing

If you try to appeal to everyone...you'll end up appealing to no one. And Elon knows that well. From memes, to doge coins, to now supporting Republican party. Even his own personal brand is polarizing.

    9. Focus on the one thing

Do you think that Elon Musk achieved all his goals at once by building/acquiring: Tesla. SpaceX. Neuralink. The Boring Company. ... Twitter. And so on . All at once? No! They all started with ONE goal ....when it’s accomplished. Then he gradually moved to another one.

    10. You don’t just dream big, but you wake up and work hard (really hard) to achieve it.

Elon Musk is known for his insane work ethic. Everyone has the potential to be successful, regardless of their social class, race, or gender. Want to get in shape? → Change your diet and workout Want to learn a new skill? → Consistent work is necessary. Want to start your own business?→ You need to do the work. The truth is, if you want to grow in any area of your life, you need to do the work. Hard work isn't hard if you are passionate about it.
