How to avoid distraction
1. Close the doors. Play hard to get.

2. Have your favorite (non-alcoholic) drink by your side so you don’t have to chase it later.

3. Have paper and pen handy. Write down actionable items. That will clear your had of floating to do lists.

4. Social block nearby people. Let them know you’re unavailable for a while. Or that you’re doing something and you’ll be free by 4…..

5. Know what your focus for the day is. If you don’t have a focus then your entire day is a distraction.

7. It takes 15 minutes after every interruption to completely refocus. How much time do you really have? Count the cost of interruptions.

9. Make sure that wherever you are trying to work that your work area is clean. Clutter is a distraction. If it can’t be completely clean at least let it be need.
