1. Have an agenda and pre-work
2. Designate roles: a leader and a notetaker who takes detailed notes and shouts out time checks
3. The meeting leader needs to be gifted in facilitating a conversation without it going off the rails - ie. keeping the discussion focused
4. Note key action items from the meeting and have a software tool (ie. Asana) to track them
5. Note key decisions made and track them somewhere
6. Cancel low value meetings
7. Shorten meetings - can a 30 min mtg be 15 mins?
8. Leave the meeting if you aren't necessary
9. Smart Calendaring Block your calendar for certain types of people/meetings or severely limit access
10. Build Hoops/Barriers to Entry - if people want to meet with you they need to fill out a form with mandatory fields to avoid wasting your time
