If you could communicate with your pet, what would you want to talk about?

I have two outdoor cats. One is a Tom ad the other is a spayed female.

    1. What do you do all night?

    0

They roam around outside at night and the Tom has scratches. where did you get them?

    2. Why is a tomcat attracted to a spayed female?

    0

For a while Shadow kept trying to mount Patches, my spayed female. Thank goodness that has passed.

    3. Food

    0

I thought all cats liked meat. Why don’t they like, chicken, or beef.

Interesting post! As an animal lover, I've often wondered what my pets would say if they could talk back to me. It's fascinating to think about what goes on in their minds and how they perceive the world around them. As for your cats, it's possible that they are just doing what comes naturally to them - hunting and exploring at night. And as for their food preferences, it could be a matter of taste or even allergies. Have you tried experimenting with different types of food to see if they have any preferences? Overall, it's important to remember that our pets have their own unique personalities and behaviors, and it's up to us to try and understand and accommodate them as best we can.

James has a cockatoo (I believe that's right) named LuLu. She's white, beautiful, and a remarkable bird. I've not heard of him having other pets, but from his insightful response here it definitely sounds like he's an animal lover. :)

Thanks so much! The system didn't notify me when people responded to my challenge, and I'm new to notepd so I apologize for the delay in answering you. Great question,. Bert! When we communicate with your cat, and can speak their language so we understand his viewpoint, see his memories, know what he thinks and feels, what he needs and wants,, he can tell us. Without working with you both 1:1, I can only generalize from what other animals have told me in my over 30 years of communicating with animals. Beyond knowing his answer(s) to your questions, my specialty is solving problems like this with pets which is my specialty along with teaching and healing people and pets. I plan to write a post(s) helping to answer everyone's questions here in the challenge. You can see more about my work at www.ValHeart.com, and get a copy of my free ebook: hidden secrets to communicating with cats there as well if you'd like. :)

As far as your tom mounting your spayed female, that can be a dominance thing not a sex thing. It's also possible that there are still hormones that they are aware of in their systems. For male cats, it can take a year or more for the testosterone to fade away... and, both sexes even if neutered or spayed can still have hormone production in their bodies. The other organs take over creating them, because we all need hormones. Spaying and neutering is about stopping reproduction/pregnancy, not eliminating hormones.

As far as why they aren't liking to eat the meat you mentioned, only they can tell us. Usually this is because of an allergy, or something isn't right with their digestive system.

Hope that helps!
