Invent 10 New Unconventional, Possibly Ridiculous Jobs.
1. Fetcher
The fetcher fetches items for people who don't want to fetch them themselves.
2. Pretzel salter
The pretzel factory employs pretzel salters to salt their pretzels. In Bavaria, this term is used to describe superfluous professions. But is that justified? After all, someone has to salt the pretzels.
3. Checker
Do you hear an unusual noise and don't want to get up from your important task? Send the checker to check what's going on.
4. Greeter
For people who are tired of greeting everyone when they go outside: A greeter accompanies them and greets everyone they meet and asks how they are doing.
5. Social media correspondent
For people who are tired of answering e-mails out of politeness, sending friendly words to relatives on special occasions or maintaining their contacts on Facebook. If desired, the correspondent can also write malicious comments. Or the correspondent represents the opinions that are currently most popular – and thus contributes to the popularity of the client.
6. Deputy
Someone who looks exactly (or almost) like you can go to funerals for you or to the opera with your wife. Also useful on days when you have to be at work, although there is actually nothing to do.
7. Companion
Companions can accompany you so that you are not alone but in a group.
8. Learner how to do certain things
Lawn mower, cell phone, food processor, accounting software, wireless printer: Tired of having to learn how to use all that new stuff? The learner learns it and explains it to you in a comprehensible way.
9. Sleep assistant
The sleep assistant prepares the bed and tells you when it's time to go to sleep, reads you a story and turns off the light. The next morning, the sleep assistant wakes you up gently and brings breakfast to your bed.
10. Relationship assistant (for men)
The relationship assistant recognizes early on when your wife or girlfriend is offended. She (better employ a woman for this task) gives hints when it's time to bring flowers as a complete surprise, or how to appear particularly sensitive.
