1. Make a list of all the people you want to meet.
2. Call them
3. Do favors for them
4. When they say no, say, "I understand
5. Repeat steps 1-4 until you have done 1000 favors
6. Then, when you are in the middle of doing another favor
ask for something
7. Always be closing (as in sales)
Always be growing (yourself)
Always be giving (back)
Always be learning (new skills)
Always be loving (those around you)
Always be living your purpose
And always be having fun
For instance, if I am meeting with someone about business I would also find some way to connect with them on a personal level so there is a personal connection as well as a business connection
This could include asking about their kids or whatever interests me about them so I can learn more about them and hopefully we can have fun together later on and perhaps do something together outside of work
