I forgot this one, it's by Robert Allen and I read it in 2001. This had a huge influence on how I view financial planning and something I blog about all the time.

Also in college I took a world religions class. We spent a little time on Taoism and although I don't recall the specific book, the idea of balance and harmony from Taoism really resonated.
