Pondering a Question from a Nobel Laureate

Today I visited the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation in Tokyo. I was interested in an exhibition called Nobel Q. This exhibition introduces the messages of “Questions we hope visitors keep thinking about” from Nobel prize winners.

The question I was thinking about was from the Nobel laureate Dan Shechtman,

"What are your chances of being born?"

Life is a very rare gift!

    1. Life is a gift

The fact that we are here is to be cherished.

    2. Life is the future

Life is the present and the future, not the past. Do not dwell on the past.

    3. Life is precious

The gift is gifted only once.

    4. Life is time

Wasting time equates to wasting the gift of life.

    5. Life is to be shared?

Life is more meaningful when it is shared. Find someone worth sharing it with.

    6. Life is courage

Living life the way it should be needs courage. Courage to follow the heart, not the herd.

    7. Life is short

We can stretch it with our deeds. The more we give, the more we are grateful, the more blessed it is, and the longer it is or feels.
