These are some mental notes from conversations, observations, and reflections.
1. WYIATI
What You See Is All There Is, a concept popularized by Daniel Kahneman. It is really hard to argue with people who take things at face value and do not consider alternatives, etc.
2. Organization Charts
Organization charts are only one view of the organization. A static view that does not reflect real interactions nor how work is done. This view was created for the industrial world to build efficiency.
3. Context is King or Queen
I took a note of this, but I forgot why! It is past midnight, hard to reflect!
4. Greek Food is Great
We had a team dinner. You can't go wrong with Greek food.
5. The building block of organization should be teams not individuals
