The '80s were bonkers. I'm going to list some of the shows with the craziest premises.
1. The Wizard
A toy inventor (who happens to be a Little Person) uses his genius to fight crime and go on adventures.
2. Manimal
A wealthy man can transform into animals. He fights crime.
3. Automan
A computer nerd makes an AI that can summon a car or any vehicle (along with myriad other abilities) to fight crime
4. Voyagers!
Time travelers continually have to correct mistakes in history. One of them loses his manual and takes on a teenage sidekick (with extensive knowledge of history) instead.

6. Misfits of Science
Basically a super-hero show, without tights. Courtney Cox was a telekinetic teen.

8. My Secret Identity
A teenager gets superpowers and helps people while keeping them secret (no tights/mask).
