Starting a new chapter
Sometimes there's a sense of something new around the corner. You don't know what it is but you feel some sort of nudge or gut feeling that things are changing. Or perhaps we just want change.
1. New ventures
Chris, my husband, and I talked today about doing some new stuff. We've honed what we do over the past couple of years, paring back on some things, doing more of others. I started a contract that has been full on. Recently I've started writing again and want to work on this. We've lost momentum in some areas, we've reached a plateau in others. The time is ripe for something different.
2. Life changes
I wonder whether the big change we made - moving from Manchester to Derbyshire - has now caught up with us. We live a very different life now. We're full on rural. Our life has changed out of all recognition. Perhaps the old has drifted away and something new has taken its place. Maybe we need to reflect that in the projects we put out there.
3. We're ready for change
We're going to join forces on something new. Chris has been the Blind Woodturner (and continues to be) and now we're going to do something together. We're spreading our wings and incorporating some of our new life into our plans and ideas.
