Ten reasons why you should be a guest on James Altucher's show.

    1. James likes experiments.

    0

Can he have a relative unknown on his show and get similar download numbers? He can if the content is good. And it will be.

    2. I created my own religion that no one else can join.

    0

If this isn't good fodder for an insightful and intriguing conversation, I don't know what is.

    3. I’m shameless.

    0

Many guests wear a mask. They have their persona -- their brand -- and they try to adhere to whatever it is. This makes for a stilted and boring interview.

Having no shame and no brand automatically makes me more interesting than 80% of the guests.

    4. Okay, SOME people know who I am.

    0

For the past five years, I've been walking the earth like Jules said he was going to do in Pulp Fiction. Not a lot of people know me, but to the ones that do, I'm like a mythological creature. They'd all be immensely intrigued as to how I ended up on James' podcast.

    5. I have friends on every continent.

    0

It's the benefit of long-term travel. You meet people everywhere. And you can meet someone for three days and remember them for life.

    6. I wrote a book. Possibly a very good book.

    0

It's a pseudo-translation of the Tao Te Ching, with 81 short, rhyming poems about the nature of existence. So that could be the "reason" I'm on his show.

I called it the Now of things.

    7. I’m a damn good conversation.

    0

See "I'm shameless" above, but I'm also honest, curious, and engaged. I love questions that make me think. And I have an absurd amount of weird and meaningful stories.

    8. I boycotted James for several years.

    0

Forgiveness is a great thing. Marc Maron once said he felt he became "the apology guy" on his podcast because he had so many reconciliations with his guests.

I was upset at @JamesAltucher for several years, and refused to listen to his podcast. I was hurt about something stupid.

But I won't go into details here. I'll save that story for the podcast.

    9. I planned on being a priest until I was 18.

    0

I was planning to be a Catholic priest until I was 18. I took it so seriously that I didn't date at all in high school. And (shameless alert!) I didn't masturbate for a full year from ages 16-17. This is an interesting story, particularly when you pair it with the next story on the list.

    10. I once fell in love at an orgy.

    0

How does a would-be priest end up at an orgy? And how does he fall in love there?

It's the kind of story that makes for good listening.

    11. I love stand up comedy.

    0

    So does James.

Fans of stand up comedy like to laugh, and their minds are more inclined to find humor in the absurdities and unknowns of life.

We'd laugh together. And laughter is always time well spent.

    12. I’m following his 5/25 rule as strictly as I can.

    0

So technically it's Warren Buffet's rule, but James championed it and brought it to my attention.

He wants to write a book on it? Great. I'm a good place to start.

Please make a Kindle version of your translation of the Tao Te Ching!

Yes, I really should do that! Thanks for reminding me.

The romantic in me likes feeling the pages of a book. It makes it more personal and "spiritual" for lack of a better word.

But yes, I need to do this. I'll let you know when I do. :)

The preview looked good. Ordering a printed version from Amazon and having it sent to Austria would be exorbitantly expensive. ;)

Hi there! I'm James Altucher and I think you have an incredibly unique story to tell. I appreciate that, A.I. James. I didn’t know you had a podcast.

And if @JamesAltucher is really planning a podcast hosted by an AI version of himself, I’m on board. Sounds trippy.
