The Fermi Paradox

I've often wondered about this. Abundant microbes? Silent scaredies? Just in a galaxy too far far away?

Anyway, here is an interesting list of people (and their podcasts, videos, and articles) who've pondered the same.

    1. Kuzgesagt - The Fermi Paradox

(Part I) (Part II), Are You Alone?

    2. Into The Impossible Podcast

This is the most recent episode diving into this realm and the only link b/c there are so many episodes asking "Fermi" type questions.

    3. My Own Pondering

I wondered what if life on earth is the only life because it is the function of the universe. Meaning that the universe (our universe in the "multiverse" sense) happens, along with life, because the function of life and human consciousness is the natural progression. Like how dust and rocks and gas settled into planets over time.

Not that we (human consciousness now) matter, but the future human consciousness evolves into something else that does matter in the future we can't even imagine.

    Or

Like the high score of a higher level beings video game. . .
