Thoughts On My First "Viral" Tweet
Current count: 53 Retweets, 99 Likes.
I don't know if that's officially "viral" but it's probably my most successful Tweet (and it's a quote Retweet of someone else's article).
1. Engagement From The Weirdest Account(s)
There was one, a self-professed porn slinger (who somehow wanted to combine AI into his efforts). His comments were surprisingly heartfelt and insightful, but the rest of the tweets I saw from the profile seemed borderline deranged - though still human, in my estimation.
2. Very Few Accounts That I Wanted To Follow
3. I Ended Up Responding to a Bot
In spite of knowing how many responses would be bots, and that I should leave well enough alone.
4. But Then It Didn't Seem To Be A Bot
The user directed me to do some research that actually deepened my understanding of the matter at hand.
5. Negative Comments...
Aren't upsetting because they are negative, but more because of how predictable they are.
6. I think I understand 'Ratio' better now
While Likes and Retweets went into the double digits, I had only 8 comments. Since most comments are disputing or outright negative, I think the Tweet has a 'good' ratio.
