What Are the Top Three Easy-To-Read Books a Complete Novice Should Read To Learn How To Create and Grow Wealth?
1. The Little Book That Still Beats the Market, by Joel Greenblatt
It teaches how the stock market works in a way that a middle schooler can understand it. He also gives a simple strategy for picking stocks that I've tried and had mixed success with.
2. Choose FI: Your Blueprint to Financial Independence, by Chris Mamula, Brad Barrett, and Jonathan Mendonsa
Teaches the basics for setting yourself up to retire early with solid finances.
3. The 4-Hour Workweek, Expanded and Updated, by Timothy Ferriss
More geared towards entrepreneurs, but has a lot of useful insights on how to view wealth and the role it plays in our lives.
4. BONUS #1: The Simple Path to Wealth: Your road map to financial independence and a rich, free life, by JL Collins
This book is a "bonus" pick because I haven't read it yet, but I hear it's great.
5. BONUS #2: I Will Teach You to Be Rich, Second Edition: No Guilt. No Excuses. No BS. Just a 6-Week Program That Works, by Ramit Sethi
Another book I haven't read yet, but I want to.
