What is something you could talk about for hours?
This list is inspired by @JamesAltucher. Here are the topics I could talk about for hours.
1. Obsidian
I do talk about it for hours. Mostly to people who don't use it or, in the case of my blind husband, have never seen it. I can't help myself. Obsidian has been such a brilliant tool for me. It's sent me down a path that has opened up new vistas. Not just note taking/keeping/making but the tiny web, daily logging, different ways to be productive. It's inspired me to write more. I love both its simplicity and complexity.
2. Street art
One thing I really miss about Manchester is the street art. I loved discovering new paste ups and murals, finding hidden stickers, tracking down my favourite artists and connecting with them on Instagram. I spent a lot of time photographing street art, and walking down the back alleys where most of it was to be found.
3. Stationery
I love notebooks. I have a lot. I don't buy as many as I used to but I do still indulge every now and again. My love of notebooks ties in with my writing.
4. Fountain pens
I rarely write with anything other than a fountain pen and I have a large collection. I love different coloured inks. I mostly collect inexpensive pens. They don't have to be expensive to be a great fountain pen.
5. The Essence Map
My version of the Hero's Journey, it's about change and pivotal moments. It shows us that there is always light at the end of the tunnel.
6. My husband
I invariably talk about my husband and his story when I meet someone new. He inspires me every day.
