Great list. What is the difference between Napkin and Obsidian?

Napkin favours shorter text. There is tech in the background that helps surface related ideas.

Obsidian has different functionality, plugins to customise it, lends itself to long form text, can be published online.

They're similar but different. I find they work well together. Napkin is perfect for idea capture which is why it's the starting point of my workflow.
