Yeah, I'm gonna have to go ahead and sort of disagree with you there

This morning I took the survey @paolo posted. One of the questions was what we get out of NotePD. My answer was learning different viewpoints. I saw several post afterward with different viewpoints where I disagree to varying degrees. Not calling anyone out with my list, just that I draw different conclusions.

    1. Vegan

Someone posted about being vegan/vegetarian being very important to them. It is very difficult to get enough bioavailable protein and micronutrients from a vegan diet. Odds of being malnourished are quite high as a vegan. If you really want to do this, I would encourage learning about this in depth and then figuring out how to solve the protein/micronutrient issue. I see very frequently on Twitter, posts from vegans who got sick and had to throw in the towel.

    2. Passive income

I love the concept, we have an investment property that meets one definition of passive income but I dislike the term. There is a lot of work involved with creating and maintaining a passive income stream.

    3. How much water should we drink?

I know Tom Brady, among many others, drinks a ton of water every day. You see rules of thumb about 8 glasses or 2 liters or whatever. There is such a thing as drinking too much. One of the most elite athletes of all time may not be a great benchmark for those of us who are not elite athletes. I drink a full glass when I wake up and then again anytime I am thirsty. That might be more than any suggested rule of thumb or less, I don't know, I don't keep track. I will also drink a full glass, thirsty or not, if I am about to go exert myself physically like maybe going on a long hike or on the way to fight a fire. I remind our firefighters regularly to drink water on the way to working on a wildfire.
