Learn and apply

This is not effective.

I grew 10 times faster when I applied pattern 2.

For example, I read Stephen Covey's 7 habits (tk) about 10 times. But I made huge progress, the day I started to make my life plan (2015)

I've read dozens of times that focusing on ONE learning topic over a well-defined period of time (90 days/6months/9 months) is more effective than flitting from one curiosity to another.

But it's only when I started applying it that I made great progress (learning German. Focusing 9 months/Italian 9 months...)
