Yes!!! Thank you for including me and I LOVE to talk on podcasts.... I also do interviews with relevant people.. and it's a fact well over 50% of people in the US have a dog in their home! People will do for their dogs what they won't do for themselves!

Oh yeah, I remember reading (I think it was in 12 Rules for Life) that people are more likely to give medication to their dogs than to themselves.

True. There was also a study done years ago (can't find a link at the moment) on smoking cessation. People were informed of all the harm it does to themselves, how it could literally lead to an early death. Another group who also had dogs were told the same thing, but also were told that it could take a year off of the life of their dog due to second hand smoke. The success rate in the group with dogs was very high compared to a very low success rate in those participating who did not have dogs.

People will do for their dogs what they won't for themselves!
