What are tactics to overcome a setback?
1. Get a change of scenery - usually outdoors.

It helps me to get away and I especially like to be in nature, preferably near a creek for the sound of the water. Japanese concept of forest bathing.
2. Start something else.

It doesn't have to be big, just something new to move on. I like doing creative activities like painting.
3. Be kind to yourself.

To try is to sometimes fail. Give yourself compassion, know that this is the price to be paid for being all you can be, and it happens at times to everyone who does anything worth doing.
