You're on a plane. A flight attendant is all smiles and gives you incredible service. Another one can barely crack a smile, and tries to do as little as possible.
Same company, same pay, same uniform...
One has decided to give the best regardless of the environment. The other (for many good and bad reasons) can't.
3. A friend of mine recently decided to quit his job.
He didn't like his environment anymore.
But as soon as he left, his former boss offered him a well-paid freelance job, a former colleague offered him a partnership to start a new business and a supplier made him a job offer.
