I LOVE this prompt because I'm a professional Twitter Ghostwriter who help influencers make big $$$ by getting people into their email list.
So without making y'all think this is a thinly masked attempt at marketing myself... I'll get into what I want to see in Twitter.
1. Ability To Sell Info-products

It need not be a full-fledged ecom capability. Just a way to sell ebooks, pictures and other digital downloads right from Twitter.
Right now we'll have to direct the followers to some external platform (gumroad, thrivecart, clickfunnels etc).
Both the Creator and Twitter hates this. (Twitter reduces the exposure of tweets with links to other sites. It doesn't want you to leave their platform!)
With this new feature, it's a win-win for all. Twitter can be happy that the user stays within the app, and the creator can leverage the platform to earn more.

I don't use twitter much. Maybe I'd use it more of these ideas where implemented.
1. Less opinions

This seems to be 90% of twitter. I don't see the value in spending my time reading through opinions.
So how do you get rid of it? Increase word count (I think X, because.... Is much more useful than I think X, you're wrong), header option - keep the tweet size but you can offer a header option for opinion and attach that to your normal tweet.
Need to watch my time better.

1. Create a Twitter for Dogs: Allow users to share pictures and short videos of their dogs, as well as information about breed, age, weight, etc.

I think that he should make Twitter open for developers to build apps with a richer public API. Not about apps like bots that pollute it but apps that make digital conversations and interactions more interesting and insightful. Twitter should try to exploit the wisdom and skills of the community of developers able to play with ideas around these 255 characters constraints and the tagging and search features. Like what Google does with google trends ex google gist and all these analytical tools like keyword planner I think that Twitter should expose more metrics to the same public of users like me who use it.

In addition to James list, some ideas
1. Group content in one's feed by topic. For example, crypto and rest. Maybe different tabs or color. To stay focused and get info you need quick.

After that, it spreads the post to everybody who it thinks might be interested in the content. This is how come content spreads virally very quickly even if the poster has no followers.
It's a way to get quality content in front of people even if the original poster has few followers. It's probably the best social media algorithm out there.
